WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Raging Fire Ministries church! We are happy to introduce you to our church. We are a church for ALL people with a primary outreach to the GLBT community. We are a Christ-centered congregation. We believe that Jesus taught us to live and walk in love. At RFM you can worship without fear or shame, make friends, and learn about the affirming love of Christ.
We worship every Sunday at 1:00 pm and Thursday at 7:00 pm with music, biblical teaching, prayer, and fellowship. We also gather once a month for social events. We believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is for everyone! It is our hope and prayer to be a church with no walls!
Our worship consists of a variety of music (classic hymns, praise and worship, and contemporary Christian), a down-to-earth message that is based on the word of God, prayer, abd fellowship. Because we have a good mix of different religious backgrounds, you may see many forms of worship. Some may sit quietly and pray to themselves. Some may lift or clap their hands. Some may cry. Others may pray aloud and say Amen. Some may even dance.
Worship is a personal communication between you and God. There is no right or wrong way to worship as long as it comes from the heart.
Come as you are! We have no dress code ("man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart") 1 Samuel 16:7
The ministry is a place where judgment, criticism, and fear are not welcome. These things are inconsistent with true biblical Christianity. Rather, our prayer is to provide a place where faith is taught, love is nurtured, understanding is valued, and compassion is practiced.
If you need "somewhere to belong"...a safe haven, a place where you can worship and grow in God as He intended, RFM is the place for you!!!
